For MSPs & IT firms

The low-voltage and AV arm for Houston IT firms

MavTech Pro is the subcontracted low-voltage and AV team for managed service providers and IT companies across the Houston metro. We pull the cable, hang the displays, mount the cameras and build the conference rooms your clients keep asking you for — in your shirt or ours. We never sell around you.

  • White-label or co-branded — your call, agreed before we ever meet your client
  • You keep the relationship, the contract and the recurring revenue
  • Your markup or a referral fee, agreed up front in writing

We are the low-voltage and AV arm for your client base. We show up in your shirt or ours, we never sell around you, and you either mark our work up or take a referral fee — your choice, agreed in writing before the first site visit. You keep the client, the contract and the monthly recurring revenue.

What we take off your plate

The work your clients ask for and your team would rather not self-perform

Most MSPs get asked for this constantly. Declining it sends the client looking; subcontracting it badly costs you the relationship anyway.

Structured cabling

Cat6 and Cat6A, fiber, riser and plenum, racks, patch panels, labelling and certification. The work that needs a lift, a ceiling grid and a fish tape — not a laptop.

Conference rooms

One-touch Teams, Zoom and Google Meet rooms: ceiling microphone arrays, displays, cameras, control and room scheduling, commissioned so the first meeting starts on time.

Cameras & access control

4K surveillance with person, face and licence-plate detection, plus door access. Mounted, aimed, focused and documented.

Displays, signage & video walls

Large-format displays, digital signage and seamless video walls — including the 85-inch panel nobody on your team wants to lift onto a wall bracket.

Wi-Fi surveys & AP placement

Predictive and on-site surveys, mounting, and the cabling behind them. You keep the controller and the network; we make the physical layer land where the survey says it should.

Network closets & head ends

Rack build-outs, ventilation, power coordination, cable management and the documentation your next technician will thank you for.

We standardise on UniFi, which is probably what you deploy

MavTech Pro builds on Ubiquiti UniFi for networking, cameras, access control and phones — the same platform a large share of SMB-focused MSPs already run. That means no argument about the stack on day one, no unfamiliar controller, and no vendor you have to learn to support after we leave.

Where a client needs more than UniFi can give them, we design on Crestron and RTI for control and Lutron for lighting — but the network stays yours, on a platform your team already knows.

How we build on UniFi

What you keep

  • The client relationship and the contract
  • The monthly recurring revenue
  • The invoice, if you want it — we can bill you rather than them
  • The network, the controller and the credentials
  • Your name on the work, if that is how you want it presented

Licensed and insured, in-house Texas crew, 20+ years. Certificates and additional-insured endorsements before we set foot on a client site.

How it works

Four steps, and the terms come before the introduction

You should know exactly how you are represented and how you are paid before we ever meet a client of yours.

1. A 20-minute call

What your client base looks like, what you are being asked for that you would rather not self-perform, and how you want to be represented on site. No pitch deck.

2. Terms in writing

White-label or co-branded, markup or referral fee, who invoices the client, and a non-solicitation that says plainly we will not sell around you. Agreed before any introduction.

3. Scope and drawings

We walk the space, produce drawings and a specification your client and their GC can build to, and price it against your terms — not against a retail sheet.

4. Install and hand back

In-house Texas crew, clean install, labelled and documented. Then the client goes back to you, with a system your team can support.

Most often needed for: Law firms · Medical & dental practices · Engineering & professional services · Accounting & financial services · Corporate offices · Restaurants & hospitality

Partner FAQs

The questions every IT firm asks first

No, and we will put that in writing before we meet them. The whole reason this arrangement works is that you can hand us a client without wondering whether you are training your replacement. Non-solicitation is part of the partner terms, agreed before the first site visit.
